Solar Photovoltaic System
Our solar photovoltaic (PV) system consists of eighteen BP 4175T 175 Watt PV modules. DC connection is via two armoured cables to a Sunny Boy 3300 PV inverter in a weather proof enclosure. AC power is fed by armoured cable to a grid connected sub-main inside the house. A Sunny Beam wireless data logger is used to collect power generation data.

Solar Hot Water System
Our solar hot water system consists of two SchücoSol AI flat-plate solar collectors. These are connected to the hot water cylinder's solar coil via a Resol FlowCon B flow controller. The system is managed by a Resol DeltaSol BS Plus, which monitors collector and cylinder temperatures. A Resol Smart Display SD3 is used to record heat generation data.
